Ascential plc, the specialist events, intelligence, and advisory company, has entered into an agreement to acquire WARC.

WARC is the global authority on marketing effectiveness, providing data, insights, and best practices to help marketers improve their campaigns. The acquisition will see WARC join Ascentials LIONS Division, which includes the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, the LIONS Health Festival, and the LIONS Innovation Festival.

The addition of WARC to the LIONS Division will create a powerful global platform for marketing effectiveness, bringing together the best of creativity, data, and insights.

WARC will continue to operate as a standalone business within the LIONS Division, led by its CEO David Tiltman.
