Carter Transfers from Cedar Grove High School to Douglas County

Promising wide receiver Devin Carter has transferred from Cedar Grove High School to Douglas County High School prior to his junior season.

Carter has made a significant impact on the field, earning the Big East Player of the Year award after setting career-highs with 197 points.

Despite initially planning to visit Florida State University (FSU) on Monday, Carter has since backed off his commitment.

Carter is the son of Anthony Carter, who enjoyed a successful 13-season NBA career with six different teams.

In 33 games during the 2023-24 season, Carter averaged 197 points, 473 shooting, 87 rebounds, 36 assists, 10 blocks, and 18 steals per game.
